This package includes the data from field experiments to measure the range of attraction of two "male lures" on two different pest fruit fly species via Mark-Release-Recapture (MRR). These values will be of importance to those seeking to optimize fruit fly detection networks or other networks of traps. Methyl eugenol is found to be more attractive to Bactrocera dorsalis compared with trimedlure to Ceratitis capitata.
