| description | Property Look-Up is information provided to the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) for properties that are located within the City of Los Angeles. Although we strive to provide information that is accurate, reliable, and complete, information provided to the Department may not be up-to-date or the information reported to the Department is incorrect. If you do not find what you are looking for, please visit LAHD Online Services or submit an email inquiry to ASK HOUSING. Data is being provided for informational purposes only. The data does not indicate an application was approved or that a violation was found by LAHD. The date range from November 2025 through July 2026 and illustrates the average number of cited violations per case, with each case labeled by the Case Type categories defined below. For each case, the total number of violations cited is divided by the number of units inspected, producing an average number of violations per unit. For SCEP, TIER 2, Task Force, and Residential Hotel cases, which inspect every unit, this average indicates the property’s overall condition at the time of inspection. Complaint cases in general inspect only the unit(s) named in the complaint, so their average reflects those units, not the property as a whole. Case Types Defined SCEP = Systematic Code Enforcement Program where all units are inspected on a targeted periodic schedule of once every 4 years. Complaint = Generally an inspection of specific unit(s) based on a complaint being filed and can be conducted at any time. Residential Hotel = Systematic Code Enforcement Program inspections of designated Residential Hotels where all units are inspected on a targeted periodic schedule of every 2 to 4 years as are SCEP cases. Task Force = Systematic Code Enforcement Program inspections for properties found in very poor condition where all units are inspected on a targeted periodic schedule of every 2 years. TIER 2 = Systematic Code Enforcement Program where all units are inspected on a targeted periodic schedule of every 2 years based on the properties performance during the previous Cycle of inspection. |
