This data table contains statewide counts for every external cause of injury/morbidity code (ICD-9-CM or ICD-10-CM) reported on the hospital inpatient data. Up to 12 external cause of injury/morbidity codes may be reported on each inpatient record. ICD-10 replaced ICD-9, effective October 1, 2015.
