Audio files recorded at US Navy Undersea Warfare Training Ranges (USWTR) sites
This project includes recordings made using High-frequency Acoustic Recording Packages (HARPs) and their low frequency predecessor (ARPs) from 2000-2010. Recording locations were selected for a series of projects of Naval relevance, and include: Pacific Region: Arctic, Bering and Beaufort, Point Sur Southern California, Gulf of California, Atlantic Region: Onslow Bay.Each dataset represents one deployment of a moored HARP or ARP system. Sample rates, recording schedules, sensor designs and recording quality vary. Dataset specific details are also provided within each dataset's documentation.
