This dataset is a database of optical, pigment, and related in situ data for use in validating the derived products from the Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS). NASA sponsored field research activities to build the database of world-wide data. These data were collected on numerous cruises on numerous platforms.
