Metadata Updated: February 18, 2023

These datasets contain the public drinking water contaminant violation, concentration data, wildfire data, and other supplementary datasets used to assess the impact of wildfire events on concentrations and violations. There is data for nitrate, arsenic, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and two disinfection byproducts (DBPs): total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and haloacetic acids (HAA5).

This dataset is associated with the following publication: Pennino, M., S. Leibowitz, J. Compton, M. Beyene, and S. LeDuc. Wildfires can increase regulated nitrate, arsenic, and disinfection byproduct violations and concentrations in public drinking water supplies manuscript. SCIENCE OF THE TOTAL ENVIRONMENT.
