LiDAR was captured for the West Coast Regional Council by Aerial Surveys Ltd from 16 May 2020 to 11 July 2024. In the summer months of 2025, small, isolated areas were re-flown to address data voids. The dataset was generated by Aerial Surveys and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand.
