• Weekly COVID-19 vaccination coverage estimates among children 6 months to 17 years is assessed through the National Immunization Survey (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/about.html). • Weekly estimates of COVID-19 vaccination coverage among children through December 31, 2023, were calculated using data from the National Immunization Survey-Child COVID Module (NIS-CCM) (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/about.html#nis-ccm). Beginning January 2, 2024, the NIS-CCM was discontinued, and questions regarding receipt of COVID-19 vaccination among children were added to the NIS-Flu (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/about.html#nis-cim). • Starting in September 2023, the CDC recommended the 2023-2024 updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.
