Water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen profiles, and other data from CTD taken from NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada, cruise SH-17-10, in the Northeast Pacific Ocean from 2017-11-01 to 2017-11-07 (NCEI Accession 0182942)

Metadata Updated: February 1, 2025

This dataset contains CTD casts from cruise SH-17-10 by NOAA Ship Bell M. Shimada in November 2017 in the Northeastern Pacific. This cruise had the objectives to service moorings from the CCE (California Current Ecosystem) and CORC (Consortium on the Ocean's Role in Climate) projects. To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with water samples were done. The CTD data are reported here. The CTD salinity and oxygen data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. The raw CTD data files are available through NCEI accession 0170694. The water sample data will become available through the Ocean Carbon and Acidification Data Portal at NCEI. Data are in NetCDF.
