Raw and processed timeseries data generated during field testing of a single "galloping oscillator" Water Horse prototype at PMEC (Pacific Marine Energy Center) Tanana River Test Site in Nenana, AK for 3 weeks in 2021. Data collection by University of Alaska, Fairbanks. This submission includes analysis scripts to derive spring and damping coefficients from free decay testing and then apply these coefficients to estimate losses in steady state operations. - ReadMe: explaining files in "2021 Water Horse Test Data and Analysis.zip" - 2021 Water Horse Test Data and Analysis.zip: timeseries data of ADCP and Campbell Scientific logger of mechanical and electrical transducers. MATLAB scripts to process data, analyze free decay tests, and estimate conversion losses.
