Velocity and Discharge
The child item includes discharge measurements, channel area, surface velocities, and derived discharges using the entropy-based probability concept and four image velocimetry algorithms. The probability concept parameter ϕ (phi_ was computed using field methods and derived from pairs of mean and maximum velocities. The dataset provides a comparison of remote sensing-derived discharges versus discrete acoustic Doppler Current Profiler measurements, highlighting the percent errors and mean absolute differences.

Each field site is abbreviated in various files in this data release. File and folder names quickly identify which site a particular file or dataset represents. The following abbreviations are used:
