The Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD) and Rosette Bottle sampling was done from helicopter, ship, and ice island. The data were collected in Weddell Sea as part of ICE STATION WEDDELL-1 project by Arctic and Antarctic Research Institute, St. Petersburg, Russia and Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. Data was collected from Ships NATHANIEL B. PALMER, AKADEMIK FEDOROV (AKA AKADEMIK FYODOROV). The data was collected over a period spanning from February 2, 1992 to March 27, 1993. Data was submitted by Dr. Arnold L. Gordon of Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, Palisades, NY to NODC.
