Structure, in this model, is represented by fault patterns that indicate zones of critical stress and fracture permeability. Zones of critical stress from fault systems located at hot springs and known geothermal systems were taken from the Faulds, J. E., Structural Inventory of Great Basin Geothermal Systems and Definition of Favorable Structural Settings for Nevada and Utah and mapped in New Mexico by the project PI.
