The survey is an annual census completed by the federal agencies that conduct R&D programs. Actual data are collected for the fiscal year just completed; estimates are obtained for the current fiscal year. This dataset includes Survey of Federal Funds for Research and Development 2021-2022 assets for 2021 and 2022.
