This table shows the surgical site infections (SSIs) reported by a hospital for the 5 Operative procedures without risk adjusted comparisons (Heart transplant, Kidney surgery, Pacemaker Surgery, Spleen surgery, Ovarian surgery), to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). All procedure and infection data entered before May 3, 2016 for surgical procedures performed between January 1 and December 31, 2015 were downloaded from NHSN for this data release.
