Surface-water model archive for evaluation of streamflow extent and hydraulic characteristics of a restored channel at Soldier Meadows, Black Rock Desert - High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area, Nevada
This model archive contains all relevant files to document and run the Hydrological Engineering Center-River Analysis System (HEC-RAS) two dimensional hydraulic model used to simulate streamflow extent, depth, and velocity under proposed restoration at Soldier Meadows, Black Rock Desert - High Rock Canyon Emigrant Trails National Conservation Area, Nevada. The model archive includes information on:
1) The modeling software version and website (model-software-version.txt)
2) The model documentation report, data release, and bounding box coordinates (modelgeoref.txt)
3) How to run the model (model_run_files)
4) Selected model output from the model runs (model_output folder)
5) Water surface elevations surveyed on August 14, 2019 used for model calibration (calibration_targets folder).
6) An overview of all files and folders in SWmodel_Archive.zip (readme.txt)
