Southeast US Headboat Fishery Statistics

The headboat fishery statistics information in the SE US includes harvest of reef fishes by species and biological data. Detailed data collection began in 1972 in the Carolinas, expanded southward, and since 1987, includes the Gulf of Mexico. These statistics include raw data and annual summaries of catch, effort, species, and size composition of the reef fish catch made by the approximately 180 headboats operating between Cape Hatteras, North Carolina and Brownsville, Texas.
