    Overview

    Proving basic surface meteorology, soil hydrology and temperature, and fluxes of energy (radiation and turbulent fluxes) and water (precipitation, evaporation, and soil moisture).

    Data Quality

    This dataset is preliminary and has undergone limited quality control. Basic meteorological quantities have been transcribed to netcdf from raw data logger files. Flux data has been reprocessed using a spectral estimation method with automated spike removal.

    Uncertainty

    Uncertainty on raw data includes instrument calibration and precision.

    Uncertainty on eddy covariance data has not been established for this dataset, but prior work on similar datasets suggests a conservative estimate on sensible and latent heat flux uncertainty of about 20% or 10 W/m2, whichever is larger.
