This dataset includes snow and water sample measurements from the Spitsbergen Templefjord Glacier expedition for the Norwegian Research Council Ocean Acidification in the Arctic: effects of ice (CARSIC) project. These data include chemical, discrete sample, physical and profile data collected from unknown platforms in the North Greenland Sea from 2014-03-17 to 2014-03-19. These data include DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED ORGANIC CARBON, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, SALINITY, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, nitrate + nitrite content (concentration), pH, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include Alkalinity titrator, CTD, Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) analyzer, bottle and pH sensors. These data were collected by Evgeniy Yakushev of Norwegian Institute for Water Research and Peter Makkaveev, Shamil Yakubov, Elizaveta Protsenko and Svetlana Stepanova of Russian Academy of Sciences; P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology as part of the Shpitsbergen Templefjord snow water samples for Norwegian Research Council CARSIC project.
