This data release provides seepage meter data and calculated flux rates at Lake Saint Clair Metropark (LSCM) beach (study survey zone B1) in Saint Clair, Michigan during the recreational season when the beach is used by the public. Specifically, seepage data were collected at four locations from June through August 2022 and August 2023. The objective of this data collection is to measure the rate of groundwater seepage to lake water interphase. These data were collected as a part of a larger study to assess the effectiveness of waterfowl deterrent systems at reducing Escherichia coli concentrations in surface water, groundwater, and beach sediment at LSCM beach.
