This is the Quaternary fault density probability map used in the creation of the permeability composite risk segment layer for geothermal play fairway analysis in the southeastern Great Basin. Quaternary fault density was first mapped at 0.5 km length/area with a search radius of 5 km with a cell size of 1 km using the USGS Quaternary fault shapefile as input. Probability kriging (Ordinary) was then applied to create this map.
