Published by U.S. Geological Survey | Department of the Interior | Catalog Last Checked: May 05, 2026 at 08:33 PM | Dataset Last Updated: August 14, 2020 at 12:00 AM
This dataset consists of saturated-thickness values (in feet) for the shallow groundwater system in the Lower Gunnison River Basin in Delta, Montrose, Ouray, and Gunnison Counties, Colorado. Saturated thickness values were computed as the difference between potentiometric-surface altitude represented by dataset potalt and bedrock altitude represented by dataset bralt. The U.S. Geological Survey prepared this dataset in cooperation with the Colorado Water Conservation Board.
