RD25-01 cruise was conducted by the Japan Meteorological Agency's research vessel "Ryofu Maru" from February to March, 2025. This dataset reports the results of marine observations conducted within the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands during this voyage. The major objectives of the cruise are to monitor ocean conditions in the western North Pacific on a seasonal basis. During the cruise, vertical profiles of seawater temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients and currents were observed. As a method of Hydrographic observation, vertical distributions of seawater temperature and salinity were measured using a CTD (Conductivity-Temperature-Depth profiler), and chemical analysis was performed on seawater samples collected by the CTD's multi-bottle sampler. Additionally, ocean current observations were conducted using an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP), which emitted ultrasonic waves from the ship's bottom to measure surface currents down to depths of several hundred meters. This dataset is the U.S. State Department MSR RATS U2024-018. Data are in CSV and TXT formats.
