Redox potential (Eh), pH, and other measurements performed in the Lake Hazen, Skeleton Lake and Pond1 from 2014-05-24 to 2015-07-26 (NCEI Accession 0171496)

Published by NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information | National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Department of Commerce | Catalog Last Checked: August 03, 2026 at 03:06 AM | Dataset Last Updated: March 23, 2018 at 12:00 AM
This dataset consists of measurements of pH, redox potential, H2S and dissolved oxygen from core samples that were taken from Lake Hazen, Skeleton Lake and Pond1 between Spring 2014 and Summer 2015. Redox potential, pH, H2S and dissolved oxygen were recorded with Unisense microsensors directly from the cores. Porewater from duplicate cores from the same sites was analyzed for chloride, nitrate and sulfate at the Elemental Analysis and Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometry Laboratory (Department of Renewable Resources), University of Alberta with ion chromatography.
