    The National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) maintains a database of near realtime observational recordings for buoys. This database contains not only NDBC buoys but also non-NDBC buoys. These buoys record information such as wind speed and direction, wave heights, surface atmospheric pressure, air temperature, water temperature, and visibility.
