Quantifying Southern Sea Otter Reactions to a Quadcopter Drone - Central California - 2020-2022
These data include sea otter behavior codes, drone altitudes, sea otter demographic information, and environmental conditions. This project involved documenting sea otter behaviors in the absence and presence of a quadcopter drone to determine the impact of the drone on sea otter behavior. The purpose of the project was to inform guidelines for minimizing drone disturbance to sea otters.
