A public passenger vehicle is a vehicle used for the transportation of passengers for hire by a public chauffeur. The list of public passenger vehicles includes licensed taxicabs (medallions), liveries, ambulances, medicars, charter-sightseeing buses, horse-drawn carriages, and pedicabs.
