Procurement - Intent to Execute
This dataset includes contracts to be executed by the Chief Procurement Officer. New contracts are typically added to this dataset 3 days prior to the award date.
The Chief Procurement Officer has the authority to approve procurements and execute contracts up to an amount less than $200,000.00 without approval from the Cook County Board of Commissioners. Any contracts or amendments $200,000.00 or greater and any procurement of the same or similar supplies or services that would result in a total amount of procurement from the same vendor by the same soliciting agency that equals $200,000.00 or more in a fiscal year requires approval from the Board of Commissioners.
Please note that the threshold for this power to act on procurements increased from $150,000.00 to $200,000.00 on 11/21/2024 with Ordinance Amendment 24-5949.
