Processed channel electric field deep ocean self-potential data from the Escanaba Trough (Central Hill)
This data release contains self-potential (SP) electric field data measured from about 65 meters above the seafloor located at the Escanaba Trough, Central Hill, in the northeast Pacific Ocean. These data were collected using a redundant, quasi-three-component electric field sensor (6 channels) carried by the autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) Sentry during an expedition to the Escanaba Trough in the northeast Pacific Ocean in 2022 (USGS Field Activity 2022-621-FA). Data includes time, location information (easting, northing, altitude, depth) for the AUV and each channel (0 to 5), and processed SP electric field data for each channel of data.
