Prince William Forest Park FFI Fire Effects Monitoring Data
Fire effects monitoring data collected at Prince William Forest Park in Virginia. Data were collected during summer field seasons from 2021 to 2024 by the R1 Fire Effects Monitoring Crew based out of Shenandoah National Park. Data include Fire Monitoring Handbook (FMH) plots for fuel loading. Fuel load transects use Brown's method for inventorying surface fuels, biomass and depth of litter and duff. Photographs are taken at each plot during each monitoring event.
