| description | The PCB Mixtures Similarity Tool (MiST) is an Excel-based tool that automates the process for determining whether two PCB mixtures are "sufficiently similar". Humans are exposed to complex mixtures of PCBs in the environment; however, only a small subset of PCB mixtures has been tested for toxicity. MiST was developed as a tool for risk assessors to evaluate how dose-response information for tested PCB mixtures may serve as a surrogate when assessing untested mixtures found in the environment. |
