Polychlorinated biphenyls and per-and-poly-fluoroalkyl substances, elemental metal concentrations, percent organic carbon and fines, and microbial communities from sediment samples collected in best management practice (BMP) wet ponds in four Maryland counties, 2020
This metadata record contains 5 tables of sediment concentration data used to assess correlations of land use with detections and concentrations of polychlorinated biphenyls,per-and- poly-fluoroalkyl substances, elemental metal composition, percent organic carbon and fines. Microbial communities were measured in each sample to identify the presence of dechlorinating microorganisms in the ponds. Samples were collected from 63 best management practices wet ponds in four counties of Maryland in July 2020.
