Physical and chemical data were collected using AXBT and bottle casts in the Mediterranean Sea from AIRCRAFT. Data were collected from 30 September 1985 to 31 July 1992 by US Navy; Naval Oceanographic Office with support from the Physical Oceanography of the Eastern Mediterranean (POEM) project.
