Photocatalytic C−H Activation of Hydrocarbons over VO@g‑C3N4

Published by U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD) | U.S. Environmental Protection Agency | Catalog Last Checked: August 03, 2026 at 12:41 AM | Dataset Last Updated: April 08, 2016
A highly selective and sustainable method has been developed for the oxidation of methyl arenes and their analogues. The VO@g-C3N4 catalyst is very efficient in the C−H activation and oxygen insertion reaction resulting in formation of the corresponding carbonyl compounds and phenols. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Verma, S., R.B. Nasir Baig, M. Nadagouda , and R. Varma. Photocatalytic C¿H Activation of Hydrocarbons over VO@g¿C3N4.
