PGS Catalog

Published by National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) | U.S. Department of Health & Human Services | Catalog Last Checked: September 28, 2026 at 08:25 PM
The PGS Catalog is an open database of published polygenic scores (PGS). Each PGS in the Catalog is consistently annotated with relevant metadata; including scoring files (variants, effect alleles/weights), annotations of how the PGS was developed and applied, and evaluations of their predictive performance. PGS are identified via literature search and data is curated from eligible publications; direct submissions of scores and metadata can also be made. Software tools for working with the data are available including pgsc_calc: a reproducible workflow to calculate both PGS Catalog and custom polygenic scores, including multiple methods to normalise for genetic ancestry.
