A stroller (1) comprising at least one front wheel (14) and at least one rear wheel (24), which wheels are interconnected by means of a collapsible folding mechanism. The stroller furthermore comprises a rod (2,3) fitted with a handle (4,5), which is connected to the folding mechanism, the stroller being foldable from an erect position to a collapsed position, and vice versa. The folding mechanism comprises a linkage system having at least one central portion (21,51,121,160) as well as a number of rods (22,23,19,20) extending from said central portion. The ends of the rods remote from said central portion (21) are connected to said at least one rear wheel (24) and to the rods fitted with the handle (2,3), respectively. The central portion (21,51,121,160) is movable from and to a support (13,113,61,155) connected to said at least one front wheel over an axis (30,60,130) extending between the central portion and the support.
