This dataset includes chemical, discrete sample, optical, physical and profile data collected during the R/V Aurora Australis Kerguelen Axis (K-Axis) cruise (EXPOCODE 09AR20160111) in the Indian Ocean, Southern Ocean from 2016-01-11 to 2016-03-15. These data include AMMONIUM (NH4), DISSOLVED INORGANIC CARBON (DIC), DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, NITRATE, NITRITE, PHOTOSYNTHETIC ACTIVE RADIATION (PAR), Partial pressure (or fugacity) of carbon dioxide - water, Potential temperature (theta), SALINITY, TOTAL ALKALINITY (TA), WATER TEMPERATURE, phosphate and silicate. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, PAR Sensor and bottle. These data were collected by Andrew Constable of Australian Antarctic Division, Department of Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities and Bronte Tilbrook and Stephen R. Rintoul of Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) as part of the SOCCOM_09AR20160111_BT dataset.
