Part 16.02 Trade Capture Report (TCR) Data
The CFTC operates a comprehensive system of collecting information on market participants to support its market surveillance program and other programs throughout the Commission.
Under 17 CFR § 16.02, designated contract markets (DCMs) and swap execution facilities (SEFs) are required to submit daily trade and supporting data reports to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). These reports, commonly referred to as Trade Capture Reports (TCRs), provide detailed transaction-level information for each futures or options contract traded on these platforms.
