    SPA is the system of record for tracking State Plan adoption of federal OSHA standards and directives. In addition, it serves as system of record for OSHA approval of State Plan initiated standards and directives, CASPAs, and variances. Finally, SPA also houses a system of communication between OSHA and the State Plans. as a document storage component and contact management database component are in development and will be rolled out in the coming months.
