The Segregation and Concentration Tool maps areas of racial, income, and educational segregation and concentration in Oregon OHNA cities at the tract level. The Gentrification and Displacement Tool is based on the PSU Anti-Displacement and Gentrification Toolkit developed by Dr. Lisa Bates, Dr. Marisa Zapata, and Seyoung Sung at Portland State University. “It combines indicators related to income, vulnerability, housing market activity and precariousness, and demographic change to classify census tracts into typologies.” “The purpose of the tool is to help planners and communities identify where displacement pressure may be emerging, accelerating, or already well underway.
