Oceanographic profile Temperature collected using Expendable Bathythermograph (XBT) from the BAHIA AGUIRRE in the Antarctic in 1979 (NCEI Accession 0000548)
This dataset contains 58 XBT profiles completed during cruise CAV79/80_1 on the A.R.A. Bahia Aguirre for the OCEANTAR project in the Scotia Sea and environs (52S-63S, 30W-60W), 13 November 1979 - 9 December 1979. Data were collected using XBT probes Sippican T-4 and Sippican strip chart recorder.
