Ocean temperature, salinity, current velocity, and temperature variance dissipation collected from EM-APEX floats in all oceans since 2004-08-31 (NCEI Accession 0305618)

This dataset is a collection of gridded temperature, salinity, ocean currents, and temperature variance dissipation (chi) profiles gridded on 1-meter depth levels from profiling EM-APEX floats deployed in all ocean basins by multiple projects. Both measurements and compilation of prior measurements were part of the Sampling Quantitative Internal Waves Distribution (SQUID) experiment funded by the National Science Foundation as part of the Global Internal Waves project of the National Oceanographic Partnership Program (NOPP). There are 3-5 netCDF files and a ReadMe file for each of 12 experiments included in this dataset.
