This aggregate metadata record describes the underlying geospatial datasets and the associated NOAA Sea Level Rise and Coastal Flooding Impacts Viewer application. The data, hosted via the NOAA Open Data Dissemination (NODD) program on a cloud service provider (Azure), includes high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs), shallow coastal bathymetry, mapping confidence, marsh migration modeling, and sea level rise inundation depth surfaces for various SLR scenarios. The associated Sea Level Rise and Coastal Flooding Impacts Viewer is an interactive, screening-level application that leverages these nationally consistent data sets and analyses to depict potential sea level rise and its associated impacts on the nation's coastal areas. The viewer provides coastal managers and scientists with a web-based, preliminary look at sea level rise (slr) and coastal flooding impacts without needing specialized GIS software. The underlying bulk data can be downloaded directly for detailed, localized geospatial analysis, while the viewer serves as a powerful teaching and planning tool for coastal communities.
