Nearshore Single-Beam Bathymetry Data: Lake Maggiore, Florida, July 2025
In July 2025, scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) St. Petersburg Coastal and Marine Science Center (SPCMSC) collected single-beam echosounder (SBES) bathymetry data at Lake Maggiore, St. Petersburg, Florida (FL). The SBES data were collected using USGS research vessel (R/V) MAKO. The elevation point (x,y,z) data are provided in the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) Universal Transverse Mercator Zone 17 North (UTM 17N) for the horizontal and the North American Vertical Datum 1988 (NAVD88) with respect to GEOID18 for the vertical. In addition to the x,y,z elevation point data, tracklines and a 30-meter (m) digital elevation model (DEM) are provided in this data release.
