N-SUMHSS Public Use Files
Annual survey series providing data on the location, characteristics, services, and utilization of substance use and mental health treatment facilities in the United States and U.S. territories. The series supports behavioral health planning, program monitoring, policy development, and research by collecting information on facility operations, services, and populations served. N-SUMHSS integrates the former National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services (N-SSATS) and National Mental Health Services Survey (N-MHSS) into a single annual survey.
