Movement data of Brown Pelicans from the Outer Banks of North Carolina
The data includes GPS locations (~ 3.1k) of adult brown pelicans (n = 3). Pelicans were outfitted with GPS satellite tags during late incubation of the 2022 breeding season (early June) and data collected through December 2022 (i.e., when the final tag ceased transmitting active locations). Movement data can be used to define use areas during the breeding season, staging areas, stopover areas, and migratory routes.
