Mountain goats (Oreamnos americanus) in Glacier National Park, Montana, USA, and Waterton Lakes National Park, Alberta, Canada, 2008-2023
Dataset includes a) counts of mountain goats for multiple surveys across 37 sites inside Glacier National Park 2008-2019, along with biotic and abiotic conditions used in analysis of trend including snow, precipitation, temperature, landcover and habituation; b) predicted numbers of goats using each survey area; and c) microsatellite genotypes for goat pellet samples collected 2019-2023 across Glacier National Park and Waterton Lakes National Park for assessment of genetic structure and diversity.
