| description | A downhole tubing bending study was made and is reported herein. This study developed a model to predict the shape of the pipe at downhole conditions and determines if the various pipe string sizes can reach a specified landing depth. The wellbore trajectory is described by this study in a plot with depth in feet and Inclination in degrees. Included are 2 excel spreadsheets to calculate tubing bending and to estimate contact points of the tubing to the drilled hole wall (creating a new support point). |
