The data consists of a series of tables containing individual identifiers; countrywide high-resolution (1 km × 1 km) minimum, mean, and maximum daily air temperature data estimated using hybrid spatiotemporal regression-based models; daily concentrations of relative humidity (RH), ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), particulate matter within Augsburg, Germany; leukocyte telomere length; age (year), sex (male, female), education (years), and body mass index (BMI [kg/m2]); lifestyle characteristics, including smoking status, alcohol consumption (g/day), and physical activity; medical history of the participants, including hypertension (no/yes), angina pectoris (no/yes), myocardial infarction (no/yes), and stroke (no/yes); and current medications, including antihypertensive (no/yes), lipid-lowering (no/yes), and antidiabetic medication (no/yes). The data also contains serum total cholesterol; high-density lipoprotein (HDL); low-density lipoprotein (LDL); and triglycerides. This dataset is not publicly accessible because: The data is owned by an institute other than the EPA (Helmholtz Institute).
