Adult sagebrush songbirds (primarily, Brewer's sparrow, sagebrush sparrow, and sage thrasher) were measured, color-banded, and tracked using multiple resight methods in Sublette County, Wyoming during 2020-2024. In addition, nests associated with each color-banded adult were identified. We conducted nest searching and monitoring efforts for any songbird species at study plots. Habitat measurements (shrub height and cover) were taken at all monitored nests (any species), fledgling relocation points (Brewer’s sparrows, sagebrush sparrows, and sage thrashers only), and randomly selected locations at the same plots.
